Engineer/Quality Engineer

- Perform functional, performance, Localization and Internationalization testing on Nokia and other products.- Review Software Requirement Specification, Product Definition, chi hair straightener specification and other related documentation. - Review localized software documentation.- Review / Update test plans.- Implement test plans; conduct software testing based on prepared test cases.- Prepare testing environment, setup testing infrastructure.- chi straightener / Review / Update test cases and test scripts.- Execute tests both manually and using automated tools where necessary and recording the results.- Initial analysis of problems found, querying databases, checking interface formats, report formats, screen layouts.- Analyze data, determine needs, implement solutions, and track results.- Take screenshots as requested for manuals.- Track test status to agreed standards and project procedures.- Provide accurate and detailed information for defects and maintain defects up to date.- Assist developer in reproduction and analysis of defects.- Prompt and accurate regression on fixed defects.- Escalate defects to the QA lead or QA Manager.- Writing defect reports.- Verification of defect fixes.- Developing and building relationships with Cork office and other Core QA teams to share and transfer knowledge and ideas. - Attend regular chi straighteners meetings for the projects involved. - Follow up with core development on any internationalization issues to resolutionMain Achievement：- Nokia SmartHome Project: BAT, Function and Performance testing, Regression testing, Exploratory testing, Localization and Internationalization testing- Nokia Siemens Networks: MQA, Function and Performance testing- Software for Nokia and Symbian testing- CMCC OMS Mobile Project: BAT, Function and Performance testing, Regression testing, Exploratory testing Other skills:* Experience in test management tools such as Testlink/Bugzilla/BugFree/Mentis/Trac etc.* Strong oral and written presentation skills in both Chinese and English.* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to manage own time and activities* ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate
